All in all this museum has gotten nothing but rave reviews since it opened. The small gift store in the museum not only carries a large selection of books on Tombstone and western history, but also sells select, limited addition copies of a few of the museum’s rarest photos. The Silver Lady Antique attached to the museum has been in business for 15 years, selling high quality artifacts and investment grade historical documents, photos and firearms. Its always viewed by the visitors as an extension of the museum - except these museum pieces are for sale!

Come on down to the West’s most historic town and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Elliott’s, who dreamed of this museum for years before making it a reality. Admission is extremely reasonable and the Elliott’s always encourage their guests to "come and go" all day - even if "they just want to dodge in and use the restroom!" Stephen Elliott, President and curator of the museum is always on hand to answer questions and often leads interested history buffs on a private tour of his vast collection.

Some of the highlights of the museum are...

Tombstone’s rarest photo known to have surfaced to date : The Clantons and the McLaury’s pose for the photographer on their horses. This is the only known photo of Billy Clanton while he was alive. He was killed in the OK Corral shoot-out.

160 antique firearms on display - including the rarest Henry known to exist. This unfinished rifle is stamped "Reject Jan. 7, 1862" and was mounted into a walnut board for display. Could it have hung over Oliver Winchester’s desk?

Virgil and Allie Earp’s personal drop leaf table. Believed to have been purchased in Tombstone, it went everywhere with them and was one of the few items Allie possessed when she died. She had also kept Virgil’s personal writing folder and the leather photo-case that Virgil carried with him everywhere he went. All three items are on display here.
